Someone from another era had so lovingly stitched the floral design across the front and crocheted edging, that it would be a pity to not find a use for it. I hand smocked a simple geometric design in matching colors across the top and added coordinating binding to create a sundress for my granddaughter. Hopefully, the original creator of this little piece of handiwork is smiling down on its transformation.
