| 285 | Brenda Walker Needing a holder for all my knitting supplies, but wanting to save my funds for patterns and yarn I decided to make one with leftover fabrics and trims. The outer portion is made of a lovely dimensional fabric that my sister used to make curtains for a bedroom. The inside fabric and batting was leftover from a quilting project years ago. I had picked up the elastic on sale over a year ago and removed the velcro off an old bag several years ago. Even the ribbon was in my stash. Not a penny was spent and I think the re-purposed materials are much improved in their new form. |
