TownsendDonabed_Sandra1.jpg - Sandra Townsend Donabed I've been using the same canvas drop cloth for 15 years for all my projects. Finally I realized the drop cloth is more interesting than what I have been painting so I used it as a base for 5 29" square quilts adding vintage and found fabrics, applique and patchwork, as well as photo transfer images on fabric that I had been looking for a place to put! The 5 pieces can be hung in any combination or configuration, and make a wonderful reminder trip back through everything I have painted over these years. I call the piece "Tune In Turn On Drop Cloth".
