Topolski_Nancy1.jpg - Nancy Topolski This plush toy animal is mostly hand sewn using recycled repurposed materials. I fulled (felted) wool sweaters that I purchased at the Salvation Army and Good Will and used pieces of the sweaters for the front, arms, face and ears. I used fabric from a used cotton men's striped shirt for the back. His feet are black sweater pieces too. This little guy is 12 inches from head to toes and 12 inches from ear to ear. He has black buttons for his eyes (pupils), chosen from my expansive button collection which was handed down from many grandmothers. I sew all the parts onto the front with a blanket stitch, I sew the front and back together using a sewing machine.
