Thomas_Heather1.jpg - Heather Thomas This leather bomber belonged to my husband. I started with the elastic band, separating it from the bodice. Most of the vertical seams came apart very quickly. I opened up the sleeve and cut away the snap cuffs. The sleeve cap was easily cut away from the shoulder too, which would be difficult with a pair of dull scissors. After separating all of the parts that I really wanted to work with I ended up with: 2 sleeves, 2 front pieces, 1 back piece, collar, front flap and a partially elasticized leather covered trim and many extra smaller pieces. I spent 3 days conditioning the leather back to its glory days.
