Smith_Vanessa1.JPG - Vanessa Smith I found a great bargain on a blue jean jumpsuit for $2.00. I decided to cut it up and make this eclectic pillow.The front has a pink embroidery design from my Viking sample collection. I added 4 triangles to each corner using a Waverly Mod print. A red satin stitch was sewn across each triangle. The yellow and pink squiggly lines are dimensional fabric paint. I randomly sewed pink beads and blue buttons on the front. For the back of the pillow, decorative stitches were sewn horizontally using variegated threads that compliment the front of the pillow. I then scattered yellow and pink dimensional fabric paint over the stitches abnd used Black Lion Brand Fancy Fur yarn to create trim.
