Pollock_Rosalind1.jpg - Rosalind Pollock This is a little quiltlet approximately 24 inches tall that is all made from supplies that were originally something else.! The majority of the fabric (blue, white and gold) is cut from a soft Indian cotton skirt that was very well worn! The shisha mirrors were removed from a purse. The butterfies were fussy cut from a grown out of dress and the bowl fabric from an apron pocket. The backing was the best part of an old sheet and the batting was part of a washed in blanket. I think the only new bits on this piece are the beads, threads and ribbons forming the tassels.
