Parker_Trisha1.jpg - Trisha Parker This toddler's dress was made out of an old button down man's shirt.found. The back is made from the front of the man's shirt using the existing buttons. The front is actually the back of the shirt, and since there was no wrong side on this material, I turned it inside out to have the pleat on the outside of the dress. The sleeves are cut from the sleeves of the shirt and made into a ruffle by taking the curved part of the sleeve where it attached to the shirt and using that for the outside of the sleeve. I also took an extra strip of fabric, hemmed it, and used it to create a matching hair bow. Then I took some extra of the trim I had made and added it onto a pair of socks to have matching ruffle socks.
