| 205 | Barbara Murphy A friend and I started making purses out of old neckties. I've expanded into using other "recycled" fabrics such as thrift store clothing for linings and upholstery fabric samples for the bottoms of the bags We started out just doing custom orders, but now we are gearing up for a large craft show in the fall. Hopefully shoppers will love the purses and feel good about recycling the beautiful silks from all those old ties coming out of the closets and thrift stores. |
