LumpkinBrown_Ellen1.JPG - Ellen Lumpkin Brown This doll dress was created from an old plaid flannel shirt and a bit of scrap lace.  I used the back yoke of the shirt (which has more body because it is doubled) to make the bodice.  I also used the front button placket of the shirt to make the back closing -- this way, the button holes were already made! The doll is also sewn from wool felt using my original pattern.
