Kuperman_Emilie1.JPG - Emilie Kuperman I love upcycling, which is how I created my strappy sundress/jumper for my daughter. I use one women's or men's long sleeved tshirt that was once loved but is now ready for new life. I take advantage of the side seams and hem already in place (primarily because I hate hemming!), and create a self-lined bodice with t-back detailing and a pleated or gathered skirt. I've made three so far, including one made from a women's blouse that turned out so sweet. My kid lives in these dresses! I also will take bits of fabric from other things to add shapes (the one pictured has a leaf motif from a piece of a blouse).
