Day_Pamela1.jpg - Pamela Day "Rivers in Aubergine" is ‘distressed elegance’ in all its embellishments.The embellishment on the front, back and closure is done with bias cut pieces of the cotton that are needle felted and stitched with: turquoise wool roving, a variegated cord with just a hint of sparkle in shades of greens and soft blues, a fancy yarn in a soft olive and just the barest hint of Angelina fibers in an iridescent blue/green. The ‘rivers’ design on the front is exquisitely set off with a hand crafted fused glass button. The lining is a deep robin’s egg blue linen with a couched cord of deep wine burgundy with a fine iridescent thread.
