| 58 | Ann Champion I wanted the challenge of making something from some beautiful men's neckties that were given to me. I used a commercial pattern for a Mandarin jacket and cut the pieces a bit larger than needed. I then used those pieces as a foundation for sewing the opened out ties onto. I stitched a decorative embroidery stitch over the seams then trimmed the jacket pieces to the correct size and assembled the jacket. |
